Debra Lynn Strauss

It is with great sadness to announce that Debra Strauss, age 61, a long-time resident of Chalfant, unexpectedly passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 surrounded by the love of her family.

Debra was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Gloria (Sepcic) Strauss.

 She was the beloved sister of Robert (Christine) Strauss and Gary (Melinda) Strauss.

Debra was the cherished aunt of Matthew Strauss and Haley Strauss and the treasured great-aunt of Charlie and Bobby Strauss.

Debra loved to listen to music, read books, solve crossword puzzles and build jigsaw puzzles. Above all else, she loved being with her family.

There will not be a visitation or service.

Debra’s family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to the ICU staff at Forbes Regional Hospital for the care they gave to Debra. Their kindness and compassion will always be appreciated and remembered.
