Of Monroeville, age 51, known to friends and family as Chris, passed away on August 30, 2023, in Westerville, Ohio, after a life lived with kindness and adventure. Born on January 9, 1972, Chris was raised in East Pittsburgh, the cherished son of Mary Rose (Fusca) Stanley and the late John Stanley.
Chris was the beloved husband of Lori A. (Snyder) Stanley, sharing a loving and devoted marriage of 18 years. He was a beloved brother, uncle, and son-in-law. Together with his Mom, Chris is survived by his sister, Donna (Ron) Zetkulic of East Pittsburgh, his brother John (Mary Anne) Stanley of Homestead, and his sister Darlene Stanley of Monroeville. Chris was a cherished uncle to Ron and Shawn Zetkulic and John and Jason Stanley and was the great uncle to Peyton and Owen Stanley and Ana Zetkulic. He was a beloved son-in-law to Charles J. "Todd" Snyder and Barbara (Stein) Snyder of Murrysville, and a dear brother-in-law to Todd Snyder of Murrysville, Lisa Cebulash of Murrysville, and Leslie (Marguerite) Snyder of Edgewood.
A 1989 graduate of Woodland Hills High School, Chris was a proud member of the football team. He went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree from Robert Morris University and an MBA from Waynesburg University.
Chris embarked on his professional journey at Dollar Bank, where he gained foundational experience in the business world. His career path led him to GardaWorld, where he honed his skills in cash logistics. In 2009, he co-founded Retail Currency Solutions, a cash logistics company serving retail and hospitality businesses across the country.
An avid bicyclist, Chris found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was a regular on the Heritage Trail and relished the opportunity to travel and vacation both nationally and abroad. An adventurous spirit, he found joy in exploring new destinations. Chris also was a passionate fan of Pittsburgh sports teams.
Chris's life was characterized by his kindness, compassion and adventurous spirit. He had a caring heart for others and his adventurous nature led him to explore the world, meet new people, and embrace new experiences.
Chris left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who knew him.

Mass of Christian Burial will be in Mother of Sorrows Church, Murrysville, on Tuesday at 10 a.m.
