Obituary of Charles William “Bill” Malus

Of East Pittsburgh, age 83, on Monday, February 25, 2013.

Bill was born on May 6, 1929, a son of the late Andrew and Zina Malus.

He was a Korean War Army veteran and a lifelong member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, East Pittsburgh.

Beloved husband of Edna A. (Pillar) Malus for 62 years.

Dear father of Linda (Tom) Van Dyke, Bill (Marion) Malus, Jr., and MaryEdna (Neil) Sunkel.

Grandfather of Christopher (Robin Wilk) Malus, Sara (Mike) Royce, Adam (Roxanne) Malus, Suzanne Van Dyke, Anne and Jon Neithercoat.

Also survived by 6 great-grandchildren, niece, Ellen (Jim) Wood and other nieces and nephews.

Friends welcome Thursday 2-4 & 6-8pm at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home . Turtle Creek/Monroeville Chapel, 1111 Monroeville Ave., at James St., Turtle Creek 412-823-9350.

Funeral Service in Holy Trinity Lutheran Church on Friday at 10 a.m., followed by a Presentation of Military Honors.
