Carol (Peterson) McLaughlin

Of McKeesport, age 93, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 20, 2025.

Beloved wife of Robert S. “Specs” McLaughlin for 50 years.

Preceded in death by her parents, Glen and Laura Peterson.

Carol was a graduate of Westinghouse High School.  She worked as an administrative aid for both Columbia Hospital in Wilkinsburg and the Westinghouse Airbrake in Wilmerding.  Carol was an animal lover and took precious care of her cats.  She was also employed at Animal Care and Welfare for over 20 years.  Most of all, she cherished the years spent following Spec’s Town and Country Band. 

Carol was laid to rest on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies in Bridgeville.
