Carol (Peterson) McLaughlin

Of McKeesport, age 93, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 20, 2025.

Beloved wife of Robert S. “Specs” McLaughlin for 73 years.

Preceded in death by her parents, Glen and Laura Peterson.

Carol was a graduate of Westinghouse High School.  She worked as an administrative aid for both Columbia Hospital in Wilkinsburg and the Westinghouse Airbrake in Wilmerding.  Carol was an animal lover and took precious care of her cats. She also was employed for over 20 years at Animal Care and Welfare where she was able to contribute to the care of animals through her work.  Most of all, she cherished the years spent following Spec’s Town and Country Band. 

Carol will be laid to rest on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies in Bridgeville.
