Betty M. (Roup) Mamaux

Of Penn Hills, age 81, passed away on Monday, December 30, 2024.

Born the daughter of the late Anthony Roup and the late Elizabeth (Berry) Roup.

Beloved wife of the late Robert E. Mamaux.

Loving mother of Robert T. (Jennifer) Mamaux, Fred (Ellen) Lackey, and the late Scott (surviving spouse, Tammy) Lackey.

Also survived by 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Betty was born and raised in the East Liberty neighborhood of Pittsburgh and was a graduate of Sacred Heart Catholic High School.  She was a valued employee of the Holiday Inn in Monroeville for over 30 years.  Betty found joy in spending time at flea markets where she would often add to her various collections.  She also took pride in decorating her house and hosting family for each holiday.

Friends are welcome on Friday from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Turtle Creek / Monroeville Chapel, 1111 Monroeville Ave., Turtle Creek, 412-823-9350, where a Blessing Service will be held Friday at 1 p.m.

Betty will be laid to rest in Restland Memorial Park alongside her soul mate, Bob.
