Betty J. Breeger

Age 96, died peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, August 26, 2021.

Betty was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 52 years, Arthur; her parents, Andrew and Elizabeth; her brothers, Andrew and Ronald; and her grandson, James.

Betty is survived by her daughters, Janet (Lee) and Marlene (Scott); her son, Arthur (Cindy); her grandchildren, Scott (Ricki), Sonny and Natalie (Corey); her great-grandchildren, Madison (Gage), Nico, Ella, Hank and Emma; her sister, Carol; and her best friend for 60 years, Doris.

Betty was an Emergency Medical Technician with the first ambulance service that was organized in Chalfant in the late 1960’s. She also volunteered for Chalfant’s 75th anniversary committee.

Friends are welcome on Sunday from 2-6pm at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 700 Linden Avenue at Cable Avenue, East Pittsburgh (412-824-8800) where Funeral Service will be held on Sunday at 6pm.

Betty will be laid to rest privately in Braddock Cemetery.
