Bethany Cheyanne Nash

Of North Braddock, age 25, Bethany died tragically due to an automobile accident in North Carolina while on vacation with her family. Born on November 24, 1999, Bethany's spirit and smile brought light into the lives of those around her.

Bethany was the precious daughter of Michael and Jennifer (Kerns) Nash of North Braddock.

She was the treasured sister of Jackilynn (Ricky) Coats of VA, Mychayla Nash of North Braddock, Michael (fiance’ Jaylyn) Nash, Jr. of North Versailles and Kelsea Tully.

Bethany was the granddaughter of James and Diane Kerns of Sheraden and the late Thomas and late Barbara Nash.

She was the niece of Jessica Kerns, James (Carissima) Kerns, Thomas (Beth Ann) Nash, Jr. and Sean (Mona) Nash.

Bethany was the aunt of Samantha and Ricky Coats

She was the cousin of Hayley Kerns, Marissa Kerns, Jimmy Kerns, Sophia Nash and the late Jonathan Kerns.

Bethany is also survived by her dear friends Brandon Pusateri and Timonte’ Morris.

Bethany's journey of academic excellence began at Good Shepherd Grade School in Braddock, where she not only excelled in her studies but also found joy in the chimes of the Good Shepherd Handbell Choir. She continued to thrive in her education when Good Shepherd merged into East Catholic for her 7th and 8th grade studies.  Her passion for learning followed her to Woodland Hills High School, where she graduated with honors in 2018, proudly wearing the emblem of the National Honor Society. Bethany's love for music and the arts shone brightly as she lent her voice to the Woodland Hills Choir and contributed her talents to the stage crew for the school's musicals.

Bethany's academic pursuits reached new heights at Mansfield University, where she earned a Degree in Forensic Psychology in 2023. Her time at university was marked by her involvement in the Delta Zeta Sorority, where she formed bonds of sisterhood and service.

During her first few summer breaks from Mansfield, she worked at Kennywood Park in the Games Department. In later summers, she brought her dedication and work ethic to Walmart in North Versailles, where she was a valued team member.

Upon graduation, Bethany embarked on a career in Forensic Psychology. Her recent role as a Behavioral Technician with Heart and Soul, ABA, allowed her to touch the lives of many, offering guidance and support to those in need.

Bethany's love for reading was a constant throughout her life. She was a true bookworm, often found with her nose in a book, lost in a world of words and imagination. Music was another of Bethany's passions. The thrill of attending live concerts, particularly to hear her favorite bands, 'The Wrecks' and 'All Time Low,' brought her immense joy.

Bethany Cheyanne Nash lived a life full of purpose, love, and joy. Her legacy of kindness, intelligence, and love will continue to inspire and guide in the days to come.
