Bessie M. Declouette

Of Wilkins Twp., age 76, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 15, 2026.

Bessie was the loving mother of Charles (Cassie) Declouette of Fl., Richard (Natasha) Declouette of Edgewood and Edward Grant of MI.

She was the precious grandmother of Carra, Caidyn, Xavier, Xander and Xya Declouette; Ciera and Andre Key; Troy and Dominique Mobley.

Bessie was born in Alabama and raised in both Alabama and Detroit. She was employed as an analyst comptroller for DARPA, a military contractor in Virginia which focused on military research and development. After her retirement a few years ago, Bessie moved to the Pittsburgh area. She loved her church, Temple of Faith in North Versailles, and reveled at any time that she spent with her family.

Friends are welcome on Monday from 2-3pm at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 700 Linden Ave. at Cable, East Pittsburgh, PA 15112, (412) 824-8800 where a Funeral Service will take place at 3pm.
