Barry was a 1968 graduate of Churchill Area High School. Prior to his retirement, Barry was on the management team of Cracker Barrel.
In his younger days, he enjoyed playing softball with his brotherhood of close friends. Barry loved to vacation at the Jersey shore, and he was an expert bartender and grill master. Barry was a lifelong avid fan of Pittsburgh sports teams.
Barry's family would like to extend a special thank you to his caregiver and nephew, Erik Stanko, whose dedication and compassion provided comfort and solace during Barry's final years. The family is also immensely grateful for the care provided by DaVita Monroeville Dialysis and UPMC East. Also, a special thanks is extended to Great Friends Charities for all of their past support.
We will miss Barry’s fun-loving nature, fantastic sense of humor, and loyal friendship. Rest in peace my brother.
