Formerly of Chalfant, age 96, a resident of QLS Fair Winds in Sarver, died on Wednesday, December 18, 2024.
Dear sister of Roberta (William) Nixon of VA.
Audrey was preceded in death by her loving parents; Robert and Mary (Resick) Fedevich; and her cherished twin sister Marian Pauline Fedevich.
Audrey was a graduate of Turtle Creek High, class of ’47. She worked as a school crossing guard for Woodland Hills School District in Chalfant where she was a familiar and reassuring presence. Audrey was previously employed by Woolworth’s in Braddock, Nill’s Bakery in East Pittsburgh and Kennywood Park. She was an avid moviegoer, with a special fondness for musicals. Square dancing was another of Audrey’s passions. She especially had fun dancing with her Aunt Millie and Uncle Harry Matthews. Audrey was an active parishioner and choir member of the former Alpha Lutheran Church in Turtle Creek.
Friends are welcome on Saturday from 10-11 a.m. at the Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc.; 700 Linden Ave at Cable Avenue, East Pittsburgh (412-824-8800) where a Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m.
Audrey will be laid to rest at William Penn Memorial Cemetery.
