Annette Puskar Obituary

lifelong resident of Chalfant Boro, age 99, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 22, 2023, in Forest Hills surrounded by her family.

Annette was the loving wife of the late William J. Puskar. She was the cherished mother of Richard (Nancy) Puskar of North Myrtle Beach, Patricia (late Robert) Ronczka of Gibsonia, Maureen (Angelo Baiocchi) Puskar of Forest Hills, and Marian (late Wade) Welsh of Wilmington, NC.  Preceded in death by children, Kathleen Puskar and William Puskar.

Annette was the adored grandmother of Kimberly Puskar-Banda, Richard "Ricky" (Shana) Puskar, Jonathan (Pamela) Puskar, Jessica (John) Bonecutter, Jennifer (Jack) Hunt, Katie (Sam Hussain) Welsh, Rachel Welsh, Nicole Welsh, Melissa (John) Fierst, Lori (Michael) King, Bryan (Mei) Baiocchi, and Kyle (Ashley) Shaffer. She was also the proud great-grandmother of 22 and great-great-grandmother of 3. Annette was the dear sister of Edith (Roger) Thompson and was preceded in death by eight other siblings. She also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews.

Annette was a proud graduate of Turtle Creek High School. She was a woman of many interests, which included playing cards and doing arts and crafts with her neighbors and friends from Chalfant. Annette was also an avid traveler, often embarking on memorable family vacations, mainly to the Carolinas. Annette was a devout Catholic and longtime member of St. Maurice Church.  She enjoyed trying her luck at the casino and was a fantastic cook and baker. As technology developed, she found joy in playing games on her iPad. However, the treasure of her life was her family. From the early years of having large family gatherings, all crowded into her tight home on Brighton Street in Chalfant, to the present day, Annette cherished every moment spent with her loved ones.

Annette was a woman of great love and kindness. Her friendly nature and warm heart made her a joy to be around. She was a beacon of light in the lives of her family and friends, always ready with a kind word or a comforting hug. Her love for her family was immeasurable, and she took great pride in their accomplishments. Annette's legacy of love, kindness, and friendship will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
