Of East Pittsburgh, age 76, passed away into the hands of the Lord on Saturday, July 5, 2025.
Born the daughter of the late Stephen Katsur and the late Anna (Chesla) Katsur.
Beloved wife of the late James Jude Mizerski.
Loving sister of Stephen (Alyce) Katsur of Wilkins Twp.
Adored aunt of Rachael (Rob) Katsur Boyett of Walnut Creek, CA.
Cherished great aunt of Luca Joseph Boyett.
Sister-in-law of Jack (Debbie) Mizerski and adored aunt of their children, Sean (Karyn) Mizerski and Emily Mizerski.
Also survived by countless loving cousins.
Anna was a 1966 graduate of McKees Rocks High School, and went on to attend The Art Institute of Pittsburgh. She was employed as an administrative aid for the UPMC Shadyside Hospital for over 40 years before retiring. She enjoyed caring for her cats and traveling. Anna was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Forest Hills Volunteer Fire Department, and the former East Pittsburgh VFW Post 5008. Anna was a devout Catholic and attended mass regularly at both St. Maurice and Sacred Heart churches. She was an outgoing and selfless soul who always put the needs of others before her own.
Friends are welcome on Friday from 2-7 p.m. at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 700 Linden Ave. at Cable Ave., East Pittsburgh, 412-824-8800.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 12 noon in St. John Fisher Church of St. Joseph the Worker Parish.
Anna will be laid to rest in Braddock Catholic Cemetery.
