A native of McKeesport, a longtime resident of Turtle Creek, recently a resident of Locust Grove in West Mifflin, has passed on at age 91, on Thursday, May 7, 2020.

Beloved wife of the late George Werber for 63 years.

Cherished sister of Bernadette (Fred) D’Antonio of White Oak, Joseph (Laurae) Mulac of McKeesport and Milan Mulac of MO.

Anna-Mae was preceded in death by her sister, Sr. Rosemary Mulac, A.S.C., and her brothers, John (late Helen) Mulac, George (surviving spouse, Helen) Mulac, Mark (late Roe) Mulac and Anthony (surviving spouse, Irene) Mulac.

Anna-Mae is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and great-great-nephews and great-great-nieces.

For 25 years, Anna -Mae was the personal secretary to Fr. Jerome B. Filip at St. Colman Church in Turtle Creek, St. Aloysius Church in Mt. Troy and St. Victor Church in Bairdford. She also was a choir member, Eucharistic Minister and longtime volunteer for St. Colman Parish, as well as the Choir Director for St. Victor.

Anna-Mae loved to entertain and organize family gatherings and parties. Her nieces and nephews spent many summer days at her house enjoying her hospitality and pool.

Anna-Mae was an excellent seamstress and created many Halloween costumes and Christmas pajamas for her nieces and nephews., as well as altering any of their clothes.

Anna-Mae appreciated travel and was blessed to have been able to accompany George on his work trips to Europe and throughout the United States and also spend winters in Florida.

In addition to sewing, Anna-Mae enjoyed crafts, singing, and golfing both in Florida and at the former Alcoma Country Club with George.  She also was keen on visiting Wheeling Downs and any opportunity to visit a casino.    

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Anna-Mae’s viewing and Mass of Christian Burial in St. Colman Church will be private to her family.

She will be laid to rest in Restland Cemetery in Monroeville.
