Of Penn Hills, age 93, died peacefully on Thursday, January 15, 2026.
She was the wife of the late Michael Fialkovich for 38 years.
Anna is survived by her 3 sons, John Fialkovich of WA, Thomas (Shari) Fialkovich of North Versailles and Michael Fialkovich of Penn Hills.
Anna was the cherished grandmother of Michelle (Shawn) Gallant and Anthony Fialkovich, both of North Versailles.
She also was the proud great-grandmother of Leo, Soraka, Nami, Nautilus, Genos and the late Ward.
Anna was the last survivor of 13 children of Raffaele and Caterina (Chiarmonte) Carleo and is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Anna was born and raised in Rankin and has served as the Matriarch of her family.
In her younger days, Anna’s favorite pastime was dancing. She especially enjoyed travelling downtown to the former Kaufmann’s Building to participate in line dancing with other dancing enthusiasts.
For years, Anna has enjoyed baking all types of cookies and cakes for her family.
She was a faith-filled woman who has been a lifelong member of Ss. Peter and Paul Byzantine Church in Braddock. Anna’s faith has been reflected in the love she shared with her family through good conversations and caring for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and her nieces and nephews.
All are welcome on Tuesday from 3-8pm at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 700 Linden Ave. at Cable, East Pittsburgh, PA 15112, (412-824-8800) where a Panachida will be prayed on Tuesday at 7pm.
A Divine Liturgy will be held in Ss. Peter and Paul Byzantine Church on Wednesday at 10 a.m.
Anna will be laid to rest in Monongahela Cemetery.
