Of Monroeville, age 85, died on Sunday, November 24, 2024, at UPMC East.
Beloved father of Nicole S. Forston and Anderson “Andy” F. Forston, III, both of Jenkintown, PA.
Cherished grandfather of Anderson Andy F. Forston, IV.
Dear brother of Melvin and his wife, Phyllis Forston, of Penn Hills.
Andy worked at Mellon Bank, where he served as an assisting bank officer. Upon his well-earned retirement, Andy did not settle for a life of leisure, but instead chose to continue contributing to his community. He brought his talents to Home Depot, where he worked in the paint department. He became the go-to consultant for friends and family embarking on paint projects. His guidance and skill left a vibrant, lasting mark on the homes and hearts of those he helped. Andy was an avid enthusiast of model planes. Collecting and building model planes was more than a hobby; it was a passion that spoke to his attention to detail and his love for intricate craftsmanship.
There will be no visiting or service.
