A longtime resident of Braddock, age 104, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 16, 2026. Millie was born in Braddock on October 30, 1921.
Millie was the beloved wife of the late Chester Kubik for 64 years.
She was the loving and nurturing mother of Bernard (Bernadine) Kubik of MD and the late Ronald Kubik.
Millie was the treasured grandmother of Jeffrey (Anna Marie) Kubik, Brian Kubik and Michael (Tanya) Kubik.
She was pleased to be the great-grandmother of Nathaniel, Benjamin, Gabriel, Catherine, Anna and Lydia Kubik.
Millie was preceded in death by her brother Eugene (late Louise) Walczyk and her sisters, Laura (late Chester) Pasternak and Josephine (late Stanley) Jasiewicz.
Millie was a career homemaker and loved to volunteer with the Boy Scouts when Bernie and Ron were scouts. She was a devoted member of Sacred Heart Parish in Braddock and its Rosary Society. Millie continued her faith journey when Sacred Heart was merged into Good Shepherd Parish and, ultimately, was merged into St. Joseph the Worker. She also was a longtime member of the Polish Club in Braddock.

Mass of Christian Burial will be in St. Joseph the Worker Church (formerly St. Maurice) in Forest Hills on Saturday, May 23, 2026 at 10.a.m.
Millie will be laid to rest in Braddock Catholic Cemetery.
