Albert J. Nowakowski

Of North Versailles, age 88, died on Wednesday, January 29, 2025.

Al is survived by nieces and nephews and will be especially missed by his niece and caregiver, Christine Nowakowski with whom he resided.

Al was preceded in death by his brother, Stanley (late Dolores) Nowakowski, and Philip (surviving spouse, Mary Ann) Nowakowski and his sister, Josephine (late Steve) Papula.

Al was a graduate of Braddock High School and he was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a retired steel worker from USSteel, Edgar Thomson plant. Al enjoyed cooking and caring for his yard. In his younger years, he enjoyed hunting and bowling and competition rifle and shotgun shooting.

There will not be a visitation or service at this time.
