Of longtime resident of East Pittsburgh, age 101, died on Sunday, December 2, 2018.

Beloved husband of the late Pauline (Hubaly) Harnagy for 67 years.

Loving father of Georgia (Al) Molnar of Trafford and Paul (Chris) Harnagy of Wexford.

Cherished grandfather of Timothy (Kristen) Molnar, Lisa M. Brown, Maura (Rob) Zang and Lauren Tarr.

Proud great-grandfather of Bailey, Zachary and Michael Molnar; Madison and Tyler Brown; Chloe, Jackson, Trey and Kai Zang.

George was preceded in death by his brother Paul Harnagy and his sisters, Ann Grega and Helen Danko.

George was a WW II Navy veteran and served in the Pacific Theater aboard the USS Sigourney.  George was a retired welder from Westinghouse, East Pittsburgh Plant. He loved to golf and spend time with his family who he deeply loved. George also was a talented sculptor as he crafted artwork from scrap metal.

Friends are welcome on Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8pm at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 700 Linden Avenue, East Pittsburgh 412-824-8800.

Mass of Christian Burial in Sacred Heart Church of Good Shepherd Parish, Brinton Rd., Braddock Hills on Thursday at 11 a.m.                           

George will be laid to rest with Military Honors, next to Pauline, in St. Joseph Cemetery.
