Of Wall, Age 81, On Wednesday, October 17, 2018.

Beloved husband of the late Eileen O’Brien.

Loving step-father of the late Patricia Goblesky and Thomas O’Brien.

Brother of Marie O’Day of CO and Nancy Hall of N. Huntingdon.

Preceded in death by brothers John Hlatky and Bernard Hlatkey, and sisters Pauline Easha and Dorothy VanDenberg.

Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and step-grandchildren.

Ed was a proud graduate of Westinghouse Memorial High School.  Following graduation, Ed joined the U.S. Army.  Ed was an employee for WABCO in Wilmerding for many years before retiring.  He was a member of St. Colman Church in Turtle Creek, where he would volunteer as a Eucharistic Minister and for the parish fish frys.  Ed was also a member of the Wilmerding Lions Club, the VFW Post 5008, and the Braddock Elks.

Friends welcome Friday from 2-8 p.m. at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home 700 Linden Ave. at Cable, East Pittsburgh 412-824-8800.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, 10 a.m. at St. Colman Church.

Burial with Military Honors will follow at Good Shepherd Cemetery.

Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Colman Church, 100 Tri-Boro Ave. Turtle Creek, PA 15145.
