Beloved husband of Lois (McFeely) Hebda for 67 years.

Loving father of Walter J. (Diana) Hebda of Herndon, Pa. and Rose Marie “Candy” (Brian) Whitney of Level Green

Dear grandfather of Lisa Whitney (Erik) Fritzberg, Debbie (Mike) Hochman and Vanessa Straub.

Great-grandfather of Alyssa and Dalton Straub, Merryn Fritzberg, Sydnie and Raegan Hochman.

Brother of Stanley Hebda of Duquesne.

Preceded in death by his sisters, Blanche Rymarz and Mary Kite, and his brothers, Ted, John and Tom (surviving spouse, Fran) Hebda.

Walt was a career truck driver for various businesses and a longtime member of Teamsters Local #30 in Jeannette. Walt enjoyed doing auto repairs, reading (especially Westerns) and meeting with his pals for breakfast and coffee. He was a longtime member of the Polish National Alliance, No. 352, in McKeesport.

Friends are welcome on Thursday from 2-8pm at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Turtle Creek/Monroeville Chapel, 1111 Monroeville Ave. at James St., Turtle Creek, 412-823-9350.

Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 12:30 pm in Sacred Heart Church of Good Shepherd Parish, Brinton Rd., Braddock Hills.

Walt will be laid to rest in Grandview Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 1100 Liberty Ave., Pgh., Pa. 15222 or www.alz.org/pa/

To the entire family, you all have my deepest sympathy. Sending hugs and kisses to Mom (Lois). He was my second Dad, a wonderful man. He is with my Mom in heaven , may he rest in peace. Love to all.
