Obituary of Richard A. “Butch” Harris

Of Chalfant formerly of North Braddock, age 72 on Sunday, September 8, 2013. 

Beloved husband of Judith A. (Nicholls) Harris for  49 years.  Father of Dawn Harris of Chalfant, Richard A. (Amy) Harris, Jr of Springdale., and Daniel (Elizabeth) Harris, of Chalfant.

Proud grandfather of Caitlyn, Meghan, Stephen, Emily, Joseph and Matthew.  Brother of Robert Harris of VA., the late Marian Wertz, late Herbert “Curt” Harris and late John Harris.

Also many nieces and nephews.

Also survived by his special ‘adopted grandsons’, Christopher and Corey Barbusio.

Butch was a retired employee of Davis-Fetch Co. in Wilkinsburg and he was a Bus Driver and Monitor for A. J. Myers  in the Woodland Hills School District.  He was also a life member of the former North Braddock VFD Co. #3.

Friends welcome Tuesday 6-8 pm and Wednesday 2-8 pm at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home, Turtle Creek/Monroeville Chapel, 1111 Monroeville Ave. at James St., Turtle Creek 412-823-9350.  Where a funeral service will be held Thursday at 10 am.
