Obituary of Marilyn R. (Ross) Hopbell

 A long-time resident of Turtle Creek, age 82, on Tuesday, December 13, 2011.

 Beloved wife of William F. Hopbell for 59 years.

 Loving mother of Eileen (Joe) Church of Harrisburg, Sharon Hopbell of Turtle Creek, Julie Van Atta of Oakmont, William R. of Pittsburgh, Marcelyn (Bob) Yoho of McCandless and Maureen Hopbell of Oakmont.

 Dear grandmother of Michael (Marie) Church, Gina (fiancé, Jake Repp) Van Atta  Johanna (D.J.) Shroeder, Gennie Van Atta, Miranda, Robert and Victoria Yoho.

 Proud great-grandmother of Hunter Shroeder.

 Sister of the late Catherine Jean Brinley.

 Also survived by nieces and nephews.

 Marilyn was a retired sales representative with the Furniture Dept. of J.C. Penney in Monroeville Mall. Later she worked with the former R& J Furniture in McKeesport. For over 40 years, Marilyn was a member of the St. Colman Church choir. She also was a member of the former Turtle Creek Women’s Club.

 Friends welcome Thursday 6-8 p.m. and Friday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home, Turtle Creek/Monroeville Chapel, 1111 Monroeville Ave., at James St., Turtle Creek 412-823-9350.

 Mass of Christian Burial in St. Colman Church on Saturday at 9:30 a.m.

 Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.

 The family wishes to thank Denise Richardson R.N., Kim Newton, David Mayernik, M.D. and the staff of Interim Hospice for their care and support.
