Frederick W. ‘Skip’ Heidingsfelder of Forest Hills, a native of Johnstown, age 57, on Sunday, March 14, 2010. Beloved husband of Dianne K. (Kooser) Heidingsfelder for 33 years. Loving father of Ellie of Pittsburgh and Lauren of Forest Hills. Brother of the late Bonnie L (Wayne) Mott and the late Sharon (Jon) Ammann. Brother-in-law of Dr. Robert (Dorothy) Kooser of Monroeville and Jeff Kooser of Wilkins Twp. Uncle of Tonya Geades and Bianca Lehman, both of NC, William Kooser of Cranberry, Kelley Muir of DE., and Julie Polites of Forest Hills. Skip was a graduate of Penn State University with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Photography and earned a Masters of Communication from the University of Pittsburgh. He was an Associate Professor in Multi-Media studies at Allegheny County Community College and, he was the owner of the multi-media firm, Fred Heidingsfelder and Associates. Skip had been a coach for his daughters with Chalfant Girls Softball and he was a member of the Woodland Hills Band Parents Organization, for which he co-created the website and volunteered in many ways. Skip was blessed with varied talents and enjoyed both artistic carpentry, as well as applying the latest in computer technology. Friends welcome Monday 7-9 pm and Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Patrick T.
