The
Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home is pleased with the establishment
of the Joseph Wambaugh Library at our East Pittsburgh
location. The Library is named for the East Pittsburgh
born and raised author, Joseph Wambaugh, who is internationally
known for his best-selling fiction and non-fiction books.
The Joseph Wambaugh Library is a resource center that
houses an abundance of literature on the subject of grief,
and there is an additional section for information regarding
children's grieving.
The Joseph Wambaugh Library contains all of the books
that Wambaugh wrote, as well as literature on local history,
local topics, anniversary books from area communities
and books written by other local authors.
The Library is accessible everyday at the funeral home
from 10-4 PM, or by appoinment for borrowing literature,
reading or researching.
