Support |
Our
services do not end with the service at the
funeral. Our funeral home sponsors a Bereavement Support
Group that meets on the first Wednesday of
every month, January through November at St.
Maurice Parish center in Forest Hills, Pa. For over 20 years we have partnered with Dr.
Barbara Coyne, a professional Bereavement
Counselor, to provide this support to area
folks. It
is open to anyone who feels the need for even
a little help, during this difficult time
of grieving the death of a loved person.
Call our funeral home at 412-824-8800
for more information.

their families. It is located in the former Horne’s building
on Stanwix St. in Downtown Pittsburgh.

The late Fred Rogers, creator
and host of Mister Rogers Neighborhood and
former Honorary Chairman of The Caring Place,
said at the dedication of The Caring Place:
“It is only natural that
we and our children
find many things hard to talk about.
But anything human is mentionable and
Anything mentionable can be manageable.
The mentioning can be difficult, and the
Managing too, but both can be done
If we’re surrounded by love and trust.”
